Jessup PTA is always working on improving our positive communication with parents, school staff and teachers. There are many fields for volunteers to help keep our organization up to date, transparent, and meaningful.
English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC)
There are more and more students who are English Learners, and the ELAC program is designed to assist exactly these students and their families. We are the voice of our children and we work to find solutions for their educational needs.
Membership
Jessup PTA would not exist without its members and would not be able to do any of the programs and events that we currently do. The membership team supports our members and is involved in family outreach activities.
NEWSLETTER
Are you interested in building a positive connection between the PTA, the Jessup School and the community? Being part of the newsletter team, you will be able to create newsletters throughout the year and inform parents, teachers, and students of important events and programs.
SOCIAL MEDIA
Our social media team regularly interacts with other parents and teachers on social media sites and reminds them of upcoming events and programs .
VOLUNTEER COORDINATION
Every PTA is build on volunteers that dedicate their time and talents to support our children and teachers. This team supports our volunteers and organizes our annual volunteer appreciation event.
Web Design and Maintenance
Members of the web design and maintenance team work together with the chairperson to update and maintain our PTA's web site.
Yearbook
We are always in need of volunteers who can provide the Yearbook chairperson with photos of school events to be included in the yearbook.
